The car stereo is asking for the PIN code.
Blupunt Sevilla uses an anti theft pin code. This is prompted when you disconnect the battery.
When you hit 1 you get 0000 on display. That means that you must enter the code using keys 1234..
Your PIN code was printed on the owner documentation.
If you have lost it you can call Blaupunt in your country, and then provide the number printed at the back of the stereo (you will have to take apart dash and remove stereo).
A better choice is visiting a local dealer and having it unlocked. They will remove the stereo to access part number, and get the code for you.
If you want to DIY you can also use this online service. You will still need the stereo number printed on a sticker at the back side of the radio.
The anti theft code is usually a separate small paper enclosed in documentation. In the last pages of your manual there is also a support phone number that you can call.
If the code is not there, the alternatives are going to a car dealer (the job is done for a small fee), or having it done online with this online service.
Also, if 1 does not bring on the 4 zeros, then the stereo may be 'jammed' instead then theft locked. Try disconnecting the battery cable for two minutes and see if this can reset the stereo.

I have all the original documentation still as I have had the van from new. Do you know where the pin code will be printed. Also I have tried pressing 1 and it does not bring up the 4 zero's, it just stays on the time.

Harvey
I will give that a try, thanks for your help!
