Re: royal coffee bar

Two days ago a friend of mine accidentally put water into the beans compartment and pressed the button for espresso! It made one cup, but then stopped grinding. I have thoroughly cleaned the container and even dismantaled the unit inside to clean it and dry it thoroughly. It´s been put together exactly how it was again. It was grinding coffee again without any problems, but then the water only came out in a few drops at a time. Now I only get a 'watertank is empty' sign (even when the tank is filled)!! I have left the magnet inside the water tank, so it's definitely not that! How can it be fixed?

Re: royal coffee bar

You have the go into the menu and change the setting on the "direct water supply" option to off. Your machine comes from the factory set to use direct water feed. This option tells the machine water supply to use.

I installed an extenal waterline to my new saeco royal professional coffee bar machine however instead of the water filling the tank it is running inside and leaking out of the side of the machine. the...

The water line to the back of the machine does not fill the tank. There is a pressure reducer/ isolation valve inside at the water connection that switches between using the tank or outside line. Is it leaking a lot of water or just leaking a little? I have seen them get a crack from shipping. You can still use the water tank until you can get the situation fixed. There is a selection in the menu that you choose for which way you want to go. Direct connection or water tank. If you put water in the tank it will tell you that your tank is empty. You have to go into the menu and change it to direct connection OFF, push the menu button and then exit.

The problem is probably in the water tank itself. Is your magnet in the water tank? Is it floating or sunk to the bottom? If its not in there, that is your problem. Need to know these things to determine the problem.

Ventilate message, but no air in system

HI Sorry, but that sounds like a bad flow meter. The flow meter is not that hard to replace, with a little common sense, but the new flow meter should be the brass one. There are some tricks to getting the top back on, Pull forward on the bypass doser chute a little so it will center in the opening. You don't have to disconnect all the wires that go to the top. They are long enough that the top will set behind the machine carefully. Remember the tubes that go to the flow meter. You don't want to get them backwards.

Saeco Coffee machine water tank empty

It is possible that the water sensor on the back panel of the machine is not operating, you will have to remove the back panel and check the sensor with an ohmsmeter.
