When contacting the net, my username and password are verified, but a pop up box indicates error 691 and asks me to re-write them again - but where do I write them. I suspect my pasword has expired because the computer failed recently

Sounds like you have a bad connection. what that is, is that your page is timing out. make sure all your cables are pluged in securely and one more thing to help is a program called "CCleaner" it cleans registry errors and cleans your internet cache. cache build up realy slows down your web browsing.

Change an Internet Password

Use a bookmark, a known URL, or a search engine to find the password-protected website you are looking for.

Input your username (also called an online ID or user ID).

Change Administrator password using DOS Command

This can be done in the Windows Control Panel, or use the "net user" command in the Windows DOS prompt.

Log in to the machine using the administrator username and password.
You can also use an account that has administrator privileges on the domain or desktop computer.


Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Run" or "Start Search" (depending on your version of Windows).

In the text box displayed, enter "cmd" and press the "OK" button.
This opens the command prompt window.

Type "net user administrator <new password>" into the command prompt.
Replace "<new password>" with the password you want to set.

Enter the password again for confirmation.
Once you enter it again, the administrator password has been changed.

Go to eset.com and click download button, then click take me to my download. Choose your operating system either 32 or 64bit. I recommend to download ESET Smart Security 4 then click download button. It will ask you a username and password use this:

After downloading, install the antivirus and use again the username and password if asking for a username and password. After installing, it is must update the antivirus defination by clicking the update and update virus defination. If already expired for about 1 or 3 months after installing. Open the eset smart security by double clicking the eset icon on the left side below near on the system date and time. When appearing on the screen press F5 then uncheck the three box that has been checked. Click ok and visit the website nod327.net and copy the username and password. Click update and click username on eset antivirus and paste the username and password you have copied on the nod327.net then press F5 again and check those you have uncheck then click ok. Update again the antivirus defination and your antivirus will extend again for 1 or 3 months expiration. Have a nice day.

Cannot connect Outlook 2007 to Yahoo server


I had in like situation some times and once I couldn't solve it and luckily for me could find out a good solution to my mind, which determined my troubles quite easily and moreover I hope that this utility will help in this condition too - pst password recovery.

1. Access the Linksys webpage
*To access the linksys gui
a. connect your linksys to the computer via RJ45 (ethernet cable)
b. Open internet explorer and on the address bar type 192.168.1.1
c. A pop-up will ask for a username and password
c.1 username and password is both admin
c.2 username admin and password blank
c.3 username blank and password admin
d. If none work reset the modem at the back of it there is a reset button "warning if you reset the modem it will be reset to factory setting and you need to setup your router again"
e. disable your computer firewall

2. Contact you ISP for assistance setting the Linksys

Why does the network password box keep popping up?


if you tick the box Remember my password, it should not pop up again. if it does. the password is wrong, or the username is not formatted correctly.

i often see the username as "servername\username" instead of "domain\username".

check that .

The error you refer here are due to Bad Username/Password.
Please type 192.168.1.1 in your web browser, a pop-up window will show which require User Name and Password. Type both as admin (Please use only the lowercase letter). You will then be carried out to your Modem Configuration Page. In the Left Pan select first Reboot. From the right Pan select the lower button i.e. Restore Default setting. Your Modem will be rebooted. After booting the Modem (When all the lights are ON), again type 192.168.1.1 and use the process as above to acess the Modem Configuration Page. Now select the WAN from the left pan. Press the Edit button in the row for PPPoE settings. Don't change any setting shown by default and press the next button. At the end you will get a text box to type your User Name and Password. Use your Broadband User Name and Password here (Not the Portal ID & Password). click next and then save. Now again just reboot your Modem by using the upper button in the Reboot page. You can use your broadband now.
Note: If you are unable to open the Modem Acess Page by typing 192.168.1.1, ask the BSNL person to change your Modem.
