Question about Acer TravelMate 290 Notebook
Sound like a bad device driver go into the control panel look for sytem go into the system folder then device manager if you see a ! then you need to uninstal that device and the just scan for changes if you do not see a ! then look for the touchpad drivers and uninstal the the device. you can olso try to restart the machine than the machine will tell press a key to enter setup press the key that the machine tells you to press then go into the bios and look for integrated devices look for the touchpad and enable that.
