Maybe facebook is blocked site on your computer... To unblock it, go to control panel-> internet properties(options)-> security tab-> sites; if the facebook is on that list, select it (click on it), then click "remove" on the right. Then click ok, and try to acces facebook.

Zonet home wireless router blocking facebook suddenly, no recent changes to network

Have you tried Unplug Modem, remove battery, unplug wireless, Install battery in modem, plug in, wait for selftest, plug in wireless device, wait for self test, plug in computer, boot normally. If that fails Push and hold the reset button on the wireless device for 30 seconds. The Moden should have a reset as well, push and hold for 30 seconds or so. If I had the Make, Model of the Modem and Wireless device I could be more helpful.

Facebook Login Problems

If you have problems with Facebook Login - most likely you are being blocked from access by the ISP that you're using. That means your school or library is blocking Facebook's IP address.

The workaround is to go somewhere else to access.

How to activate facebook without wifi?

Accessing Facebook needs internet connection. Without any active connection, you will not be able to connect to internet.
Internet connection option for such devices:
Mobile phone:1. GPRS - settings will be coming from your mobile service provider, data rates will be deducted from your load credits.2. Wi-fi connection - needs active wireless connection from your modem/router/gateway. Charges will be applied via ISP 9internet service provider)
Laptops / computer / PSP:1. USB Dongles - this will use the gateway connection via BTS for its using the internet connection like the protocol of ISP.2. Wi-fi - Wi-fi connection - needs active wireless connection from your modem/router/gateway. Charges will be applied via ISP 9internet service provider)

Thank you for choosing you have any other issues under the sun, just post your questions here and we will provide you the answer.

Cannot get to facebook site

Sometimes the Facebook server gets overloaded. When this happens many people won't be able to use it until the problem is resolved by Facebook.

If you're on a computer at work it could be that your network administrators have recently made a change to the firewall and it is now blocking one of Facebook's numerous servers. Check to see if any of your co-workers are having similar problems.

Can you get to any other sites on the internet? If not, it points to a problem with your internet. Try power-cycling your modem and router (unplug, wait 30 seconds, plug in modem, wait 30 seconds, plug in router, wait for your computer to restablish a connection). If this doesn't help you will have to call your internet service provider (ISP).

Trying to setup a facebook account. The system says I'm ineligible to setup a facebook account. Why?

I don't think that would be your router, if facebook access was turned off at the router you couldn't even get to facebook. To double check unplug your router and plug your laptop right into your modem, if it works it's the router, if not it's facebook.

Try to connect facebook.

You can use this page to try and regain access:

2wire not finding broadband connection

I have tried also in the past, to set up a connection with this make of router with an ISP other than the ISP that supplied it and i was not able to get it to connect as i think the firmware is set to only recognise certain ISP IP addresses or MAC settings.
