Use other ink for leading-in. Prepochtiteliney pigment ink. This often meets.

Magenta and cyan will not print on my hp officejet pro L7590 -- it started with a paper jam that was corrected - ever since then only the yellow and black will print on the paper -- printheads are good and...

Same thing happened to my printer hp L7590. Printed diagnostic, only black and yellow printed; diagnostic for printhead health Ky=good, MC= good. Only Hp products ever used. Uplugged, & discharged static, cleaned copper parts of printhead. Still no fix. On visual examination of floor of printhead compartment rectangular pad ( approx 1/4" by 1/2") is missing. I can only guess that during the paper jam, somehow the pad got caught up and went awol. Not sure what to do now.

Hello, I am having a slight problem with my Hp Officejet L7590 Printer. When i print, it seems as if some words are faded. Also, when I print pictures, they print in different colors than shown on screen.

Make sure you are not running out of ink. Also, please do a maintenance cleaning on the printer. For a detailed and complete guidance, you can click on the manual's link below and go to page 145.

HP L7590 black ink printing poorly even with new HP cartridge

I have had the same problem It is the print head not the cartridge If your printer is still under warranty have the printhead(s) replaced if not Open the unit where the print heads are and hold the OK button for 5 seconds. The Print head carriage will move to the left

Carefully remove the KY (Black & Yellow) Print head with a cotton swab and alcohol clean the contacts and replace the printhead. If this does not work remove the printhead and then with a spray bottle spray the nozzle area on the bottom (DO NOT TOUCH THE NOZZLES AS THEY WILL BE DESTROYED) HP techs have told me this will void any warranty so act accordingly I use a printhead cleaning solution available from most any online ink supplier

Replace the printhead after it has dried out (less than a minute). The printer will then go through an alignment cycle and should print I had to do this several times before the print head performed as it should
