Screen flashes palm

i was installing some programs last night and my palm told me befor i could use them i had to reset so i did now all my screen dose is flash palm for about 10 seconds then black screeen for about 5 seconds till the battery dies i thought if i let the battery die and then tried it it would work no luck i did do the hard reset but nothing got it to show up once if i wanted to erase all info and i slected no ( wish i would have slected yes)
any thoughts?
