Question about LG Washing Machines
Could be the main bearing.
I believe.... that there is a spider like clasp that goes around the rear of the drum. This has a rod which comes out the back of the spider and is inserted into the main bearing. This bearing is like a circle of metal so that the rod slides into it and can spin.
If the machine is not spinning balanced properly then this rod/spider or bearing may be broken/worn. My repair man told me it would cost 120$ and 2-3 hours work. I'm going to look at it myself and see how hard it is to replace the bearing (which he said needs to be very accurately in centre.).. .
