Rapitest Wpp123 instructions

I don't have the instructions for this power, wire and pipe detector. Can anyone tell me how to use it and what the circle and triangular symbols mean?

Yes you can use this instrument to measure. It needs to be put on the AC voltage and to be on the highest value. Voltage is measured with a fuse included (be careful). It is better to use a screwdriver tester to find a phase (hot wire). Wires are measured ohmic and should not be turned voltage on(or it may burn the instrument). If you measure current it can short circuit if the installation is under voltage (because of this reason the current is measured in series connection).

Reyjoshua07 suggested (determine which wire is in the trunk by disconnecting connector. I did all this and alarm goes off any given time day or night and now i have to remove battery cable. DISTURBING...

i can not use private chat some thing wrong with it you need to find the alarm and cut the power to it or look in the owners manuel and find out what fuse turners it off i no you have motion detectors and ill bet the micro switch that is in the motion detector is bad most times you will find the alarm under the hood i don't no what kind you have so its hard to tell you where it is

Sonin Rapitest power sensor will identify live electric wires within your walls. Mine quite working this weekend.

I have a Rapitest pipe/wire and stud finder but have lost instructions.Can you please help. What is the significance of the circle and the triangle settings?

If its like my one (Different brand) you simply switch on and adjust fine control till the lamp just comes on then turn opposite way till lamp just extinguishes, Make suer the unit in pressed onto the wall.
