Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
Hey all.. The first problem:(1) I don't know my PSP is model 2000 or 3000. I take the battery off I see as follow: MOde PSP-2006. The system software of my PSP is version 5.03. And it says there is no need update. The second problem (2) Whenever the battery is empty I cannot find any game on memory from the game icon. I got successfully my games back to play by doing 2 times as follows: I went to photo icon by pressing 'o' button until I got the blue screen then it reseted automatically. After it turned on I went to the memory from the game icon by pressing CW 3.30. After this I could play games as usual. Now I do the same as before but it cannot get blue screen; it turn off automatically. Then I turn my PSP on again and I try to go memory from game icon by pressing CW 3.30. It says This games cannot be started. The data is corrupted. I don't believe that the data of games is corrupted. I take the battery off for hours and reset to default; anyway it doesn't help. Please help me as you can.. Thank you in advanced.

alright turn off your psp by holding down the power switch for atleast five seconds. when it is turned off hold down the right trigger (the R1 button) then at the same time hold down the power switch button to get to the recovery menu. after that go to configuration then somewhere amongst all of the displayed lines one of them should either say no umd or umd required toward the end of the text. if it says umd required change it to where it says no umd. then go back and go to advance then advance configuration and disable all and this should solve your problem. hope i helped.
