go to tools, select options. click under the hood tab. then click change proxy settings. in the internet properties dialog, click lan settings. see if there is the check on automatically detect settings. then click ok. if same thing happens, it might be your antivirus or firewall blocking google chrome. try to clear cookies as well.

1. uninstall the google chrome
2. install the google chrome again
3. go to setting
4. click options
5. tab under the hood
6. click change proxy setting
7. click lan settings
8. uncheck use a proxy server for your Lan
9. reload webpage
