I have the 660 printing output data from my blood counter and color is not needed, however with daily start-up, color is used up and requires replacing. How can I turn off the color and still print black only?

NX 410 epson printers problems

I switched to another brand of printer. Clogged heads, clogged feed tubes, etc Common enough if you don't use a printer daily. I bought a laser printer for black and white text output, toner is much cheaper than ink and a Canon inkjet printer for color when needed, my choice of a Canon was based on a user swapable print head and a super price on a discontinued model.

Try

Resetting the Ink Counter When an ink tank is replaced, the ink counter must be reset. The low ink warning is only displayed properly if the ink counter is reset.

Message Prompting Confirmation of Ink Tank Replacement
If an ink tank is removed, the printer will output a message prompting you to confirm replacement of the ink tank at the start of the next print job.
When an ink tank has been replaced, follow the procedure below to reset the ink counter. The low ink warning is only displayed properly if the ink counter is reset.
Important
If infrared communication is performed in Windows XP or Windows 2000, the printer will not output the message asking for confirmation of ink tank replacement.
Reset the ink counter from the printer driver when you replace the ink tank.

1 Check the message, and click Yes.

Note
Mistakenly clicking No instead, will prevent the low ink warning from functioning properly. If this happens, be sure to open the driver's Properties dialog box and manually reset the ink tank counter in the Maintenance tab.

2 Select the replaced ink tank, and click OK.
The dialog box allows you to select the replaced ink tank.
When both black and color ink tanks have been replaced, select both Black and Color.
If you have not replaced the ink tank with a new one, click Cancel.

1 Open the Printer Properties dialog box and click the Maintenance tab.
2 Click Ink Counter Reset.
3 Select the newly installed ink tank, then click OK.

Blood pressure reading 150/76. Manual Blood pressure 130/72

A monitor using Hg is only a valid monitor reading. Most electronic devices produce approximate results and are mostly good for taking several readings daily and obtaining a mean daily BP. Device calibration appears to be not accessible to the the user. Also, depending on age & condition of your dad, sequential reading must take place after elapse of enough time for circulation to be at steady state in the arm again, or if you immediately after a measurement make another, even with the same monitor you will obtain a different result.

WHAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED LOW BLOOD PRESSURE?IS IT NORMAL FOR MY TOP NUMBER TO CHANGE FROM 104 TO 129 IN ABOUT 5 MINUTES?

There are standard methods for measuring BP. One should be seated on chair, feet on ground, leaned back, relaxed for at least 5 minutes, at least 2 hrs after a meal, .... then repeating this procedure several times daily, and averaging will provide some ave daily BP value.
Using this procedure for hourly BP measures, one can adjust times and doses of BP medicines taken daily.

Laser printing problems

Hi Gene,

Hope this will give you hints. If you could possibly acccess and print the machine diagnostic or record counters by pressing combination buttons from Off to On mode, please check the drums life and other counter records. On more complex problem with this type of printing output involves high voltage section circuit, fuser and developer.

Best regards,

Printer lights stay on

Hi geoger, Can you give more detail about the lights and if they flash and in what sequence. The most likely cause is that your machine has hit the maintenance error meaning that the waste ink pads are full. This requires that the pads be cleaned/replaced and the counter within the firmware be reset. To do this, you will need the service manual for the 1290 to dismantle it and gain accesss to the pads and the software to reset the firmware counter. You should be able to get these from: http://www.TheServiceManualShop.com and/or http://mikeburton.tradebit.com/
