I assume this is showing the file name is something like winmail.dat

this is funny email server issue - typically caused if sending to lotus mail

look here .. http://www.eolsoft.com/freeware/winmail_opener/
to install a program to extract the file

or

upload your file here ... http://www.winmaildat.com/
and it will extract the attachments

Recently received a Bushnell Neo for Christmas and having problems loading Bushnell Neo (provided) software to my computer. I have Windows Vista Home Premium and can't get past Quick Guide step 6,...

I've had the same problem today and found the following advice:

Solution:

1) Click on your Start Menu
2) Select Computer
3) Open Local Disk C.
4) Open Program Files
5) Open Bushnell
6) Open Neo Sync
7) Open Native
8) Delete IGolf.lck
9) Close out of everything, restart your PC, and attempt to launch the Sync Application again when your computer has started back up.

If the above fails to solve the problem, you need to install a new USB driver. Contact iGolf at 858-300-5513 858-300-5513 and they will email you the PL2303 Prolific Driver.

I downloaded the driver from
http://www.prolific.com.tw/eng/downloads.asp?ID=31
rather than send an email and now have it working on XP, Vista and windows 7 starter.

What web browser are you using(i.e: firefox or IE)? I havn't had the chance to pick up a copy of Vista but I read that there is a download folder where all files downloaded are kept the path is: C:\users\your name\downloads). Please let me know if everything worked out.
