Hi when you switch it on have you tried holding down the on off button for about 10 seconds as this often resets most printers.
Also when you sya thier is no paper jammed in printer are you absolutely sure their is not even i tiny bit of paper still stuck as it only takes a tiny bit of paper to make this message appear.
If you are confident in removing the paper feed witch is difficult to do as you need to make sure it goes back perfect as if it isnt the paper wont feed.
Alot of people say their is no paper jammedand they call somebody out to repair the printer and they get charged a fortune for removing a tiny bit of paper.
If holding the button down dont work then try switching the plug on whilst holding down the on off button let me know how you get on ok

Paper not feeding properly, nothing jammed as I have checked. Loading tray having problems.

Check to see if the printer is actively trying to feed the paper. If you hear it trying to feed and see the wheels turning, but the paper won't feed, check to see if a screw securing the feed wheel has come loose. If you hear the sound, but nothing moves to pull the paper in, then you probably have a bad printer. They're too cheap to replace to bother fixing - so get a new one.

Canon pixma mp150 saying paper jam but cant see one

1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button.
4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
7. Turn the printer off.
8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.

Paper jam even when there is no paper in the printer

I had same problem. Have you checked for paper-jam from the back, as sometimes a small piece of paper may be still jammed in. Pull open the door and check. Do not pull jammed paper from the front as this disturbs the rollers and printing process. I di this, and have had to buy a new printer.!!

Paper jam

When you turn the machine on, does it get to READY status or does it go into a jam message right away?

If it gets to READY status, and you get a jam code after you try to print, then your feed rollers might be either dirty or worn. Try cleaning the rollers with with Goo-Gone which is a pretroleum based cleaner that wont dry out the rollers.

If it never gets to the Ready status, then you either have a stuck or broken sensor in your printer. This would be harder to troubleshoot. 1st you would have to know where the sensors are located, and then would have to be able to clean/check and or replace it.

Hope its the easier solution.
Good luck
