The system just shuts off after the word "eject" appears on the screen.

It is likely mechanical disassembly will be required to extract the damaged cassette in the B drive and the jammed cassette in the A drive. The electromechanical A-B switching mechanism may have failed because of age aor failure of synchronization. The tapes, if very thin or stretched could be a contributing factor.

You can't. Cassettes are analog and the USB only recognizes MP3. The USB will only record off a normal CD or a CD with MP3s on it. It won't record other formats. The unit only allows to record from CD to cassette or from CD to USB. There are some cassette decks that will convert to MP3. Just do a search for "cassette to MP3 converter"

I have a yorx L350 sound system, is it possible to record from cassette to cd, read manual nothing listed that I can find maybe there's a hidden path. thanks

As long as they are 2 separate units,it should be no problem.Play the cassette.Insert the cassette out plugs into the CD input plugs and record. As long as the CD has recording ability,it should work fine.Tape like a minute and check the CD before you do the whole thing just to make sure it is taping fine.Good luck!

Kenwood XD 550 stereo start-up problem

this normally happens with a lot of sets! It usually happens during a Power Failure, Power Surge (Fluctuation) and if the wire of the component is taken out from the wall outlet while the system is on...To get rid of this problem all you need to do is to press the Display button on the main unit, it is located just below the main display! Voltage Selection has got nothing to do with this problem...
