my heater or air conditioner does not work. i have to take out the fuse becausee it is stuck on the fan blowing position. I came home one night when it was cold i had the heat on with the defroster blowing shut off my car next morning went to work it stll was stuck on blowing and i could not shut it off so i have to pull the fuse.
These models had problems with the blower motor power stage, which is what controls the fan speed, and the blower motors wear out. There a good chance it needs both!
Try checking the power stage unit (RESISTOR) and take the top of windshield air without removing wipers lift up take out cabin filther and you can see fan try to turn it and see if it is stuck
