What kind of unit is it? What Brand, model, etc.. How long have you had it. Is it hard wired. This is an indication that you have a short somewhere. Is the item still under buyers warranty, or from the manufacture. If you can provide me with additional info I might be able to assist you further. Hope this helps.

Sell and light smoke coming from A/C compressor when heater turned on.

I'm not familiar with that code but, the A/C compresser is supposed to come on with the de-frost setting. Sounds like it could be a problem with the heater A/C control panel. As for the burning smell,it could be dust burning off the heater core, or possibly your blower motor trying to go out.

There seems to be to much smoke coming out of my oven it comes up through the burners , this oven is only 5 months old, I it's a gas oven and I hate using it, and I cook every night, but I hate this oven,...

Maybe isolation broke and something is burning? Does it smell burnt? If the smoke is coming out of the burners it seems like an isolation problem. My knowledge is very limited though, so good luck. Contact your store to ask if this is unusual or not.

Light bluesmok coming from tailpipe

light blue smoke would suggest a small amount of oil being burnt in the cylinder. could be a valve stem seal, or a faulty oil control ring on a piston.

grey/ black smoke would suggest excess fuel, usually due to a clogged air filter.

white smoke would suggest water being burnt in the cylinder from a blown heat gasket. this would usually smell slightly sweet and sugary from the antifreeze/summer coolant in the water.

any smoke from the tailpipe should be checked as the emissions could be out of limits as well.

check the spark plugs one at a time.
blackened dry plugs would suggest excess fuel.
black and oily plugs would suggest oil in that piston.
it should give you an idea of where to start looking for the fault.

Greetyings, My Whirlpool dryer about 7 cb was given to me a few months ago used. The dryer is maybe close to 8 years old. Recently, it began smoking from the inside and today fully became overwhelmingly...

The machine is alright, it is just some component from inside the unit that is getting burnt. It might be any component inside the unit, therefore, You will have to take it apart to be able to tell which component is getting burnt. Most of the time, it used to be a wire that is getting burnt due to partial contact, but You have to be sure which component is getting burnt to be able to know how to replace the component with a new one.
It is fixable, as long as the dryer is still working and it is just the smoke that is coming out of the unit as a result of a burning component inside the unit.

If the make of the dryer can be stated, I will be more that glad to guide you through the steps of disassembling the unit and testing the component that is faulty and how to replace it.
Hope this information was helpful.

Fan isn't turning

turn the power off, take the cover off the top and try to spin it. If it spins hard then it was the motor. If it spins easy the the capacitor is probably bad which
would cause the fan to go bad.

Usually this can be a dual capacitor which also controls the compressor. Sometimes just replacing
the capcitor can do the trick, if not then the worst
is that you will have to replace the motor and still use the new capacitor

Hi jimali1987,

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.

Your problem is: Smoke is coming from lower rear of unit.

Unplug! Remember where there's smoke there's fire. Get access to compressor and find the burnt wire or whatever it was. I have found burnt animal nest in the past. You never know.
