Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console
The lower screen of my Nintendo DS works fine, but it displays all in negative colors (like old 35mm. cameras films). Any ideas?

Hi I have a problem with my bottom screen as well. I was replacing the case as the hinge was broken. When i was putting it back together i noticed a slight tear in the ribbon cable which is attached to the board and the bottom screen.
When I turned it on I found I had poor colour and contrast in the bottom screen however the top screen was fine.
Where this ribbon cable is attached to the board there is two small cables attached to the board beneath it, maybe one of these has come away and needs repositioning or your bottom screen needs replacing.Try this site for diy tipshttp://site.powergamingparts.com

Top LCD's flex cable that passes through right-hand hinge into bottom part of case will be damaged or not properly seated in its connector socket.

SOURCE: Nintendo DS lite - dropped
Might be worth taking it into a phone repair shop to see if they can replace the LCD screen. (yes, a phone repair shop - a lot of them do portable console screens too!) If they can't do it, it's probably unfixable realistically.

Unfortunately this is coming to be known as the "Green Screen of Death"... It is likely one or more of the components that create the image
on the screen are damaged. This usually occurs if there has been an
impact -- such as being dropped or hit -- to the Nintendo DS's screens.
Your Nintendo DS system will need to be repaired.
You can give Nintendo a call at 1-800-255-3700 or contact them via their website:
Hope this helps!
