Question about Emerson LC320EM8 32 in. LCD TV
It sounds like your picture tube has went out. If you have one tube that is bad it will cause your TV not to come on. This is a safety feature. How old is your unit. Try disconnecting everything from your TV. Unplug your TV and let it sit for at least 8 hours. This will discharge your picture tube. As long as it is plugged in you have constant current. After waiting this period plug it back in and tell me what you hear if the picture does not come on. Now keep in mind that when your TV comes on you might only see your picture for seconds before it shuts off again or goes into your stand by again. Try this also, go to your internet browser and type in your brand, model, help with stand by. If you can't find what you need try this link http://emersontv.com/. Hope this helps.
