Where can i purchase filters for my DeLonghi AC?

I bought it last summer and now it needs a new filter. The place I bought it from doesn't have the filters. On line I could only fnd the expensive $ 70 one. Are there any less expensive than $70.00? Model is a Pinguino pacL90

Well I found this page http://www.yourspares.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=1688461 and you can get the filter there for £22.25 , which is about $35.00. I simply took the part number EL7351031200 and searched for it. That's the cheapest one I could find though. I read that it's a 3M filtrete filter, and, knowing me, I would just buy a cheaper, larger filtrete filter at wal-mart, cut it to size, and glue it to the plastic frame of the old one. I hope you also know that you can wash the filter in warm water until it wears out.

Ok So We Bought This. But We Have A Problem Does It Take Water Or Not? Thats What I Need To Know! Please Help!

The DeLonghi PACA120E Portable Air Conditioner quickly cools rooms up to 400 square feet and comes equipped with several functions that make operation easy and low maintenance. Its 3 operating modes are supplemented with no-drip technology, an adjustable thermostat, 24-hour timer, and much more. This unit truly takes the work out of cooling medium- to large-sized spaces. Multiple Modes and Functions The DeLonghi A120E-also known as the Delonghi Pinguino PAC A120E-offers 3 operating modes and 3 additional operating functions that make this model versatile and energy efficient. Cool Mode: 12,000 BTUs of cooling power help cool large rooms, offices, or basements. Dry Mode: Reduce room humidity by removing excess moisture from the air. Fan Mode: Circulate air to keep your room comfortable without using a lot of energy. Low, medium, high, and an auto-speed are all included (auto speed selects a fan speed for you). Smart Function: Your AC uses Cool and Fan mode based on ambient room temperature. This function will also select your fan speed and keeps your room comfortable without wasting energy. Sleep Function: Using a low fan speed, the AC gradually reduces operation so your room remains comfortable but the AC runs more quietly and efficiently while you sleep. Boost Function: This function is ideal for the summer months and uses the maximum fan speed to rapidly reduce your room temperature. Useful Features Using DeLonghi's patented no-drip technology, this unit is "dripless" under normal conditions, meaning the AC will discharge all of the moisture collected from the air-so you typically won't have to worry about draining the water. When dehumidifying a lot of moisture in Dry mode, excess water may collect in the internal collection tank. Once the tank is full, the air conditioner will automatically turn off to avoid overflow damage. You can also use the included continuous drain hose as a no-fuss way to eliminate excess water as needed. An adjustable thermostat provides additional convenience by allowing you to set your room temperature. The DeLonghi portable AC will cycle on and off to eliminate over-cooling and maintain the set temperature. Additional Features Washable Air Filter: A washable air filter helps remove allergens and other particles from incoming air and saves you money on replacement filters. Quiet Operation: High efficiency compressor and components result in quiet performance. Electronic Controls: The LCD screen displays the timer and temperature settings, while intuitive indicator lights accompany each operating mode. 24-Hour Timer: This feature lets you program your AC to turn on or off up to 24 hours in advance, so it only runs when needed. Window Bracket: Double window bracket is included with purchase for flexible installation. Self-Diagnosis System: The unit includes a self-diagnostic maintenance system that identifies malfunctions should they occur. Remote Control: Use the full-featured remote control to change modes, set the timer, and select a fan speed up to 23 feet away from the receiver (on the front of the unit). Portability: Easy-roll casters and dual carrying handles make it simple to move this model from space to space.

No moisture removal. This is a DDH 30 model. How does one game access to the air filter for cleaning. I realize this is an older unit but has always performed well. Before purchasing a new...

Wayne, the filter may be in one of two places.

1. Turn the unit OFF & unplug it.

2. Remove the bucket from the holder. Look up inside the holder, just in front of the louvers and you may see a plastic pull tab type handle. This will be the handle to the filter frame. Pull it down and out of the unit. Since it sounds like it has never been cleaned, wash it in warm water and dish washing liquid. Rinse thoroughly and allow to completely dry, before reinstalling it. NEVER operate the unit without the filter in place, as it could cause damage to the unit

2. If the filter was not located in step 1, on the right side of the unit, just behind the louvers, there may be a pull open trap door. Flipping that door open, will give you access to the filter and it's removal. Clean it as described above.

The above are the only 2 places I know of, that the filter can be located in on a Delonghi
Dehumidifier. Unless, your unit is over 10 years old. In any event, I hope this helped you.

1995 honda odessey runs rough in drive and worse when ac is on .

One thing to change right off is the fuel filter. If its running rough it could be a few reasons but that definitly needs to be changed if it never has been. Depending on the transmission, I would have a service done on that.

2007 Endeavor

Bill,

This is extremely common on Endeavors, and is caused by a blockage in the drain of the AC system. It can be caused by leaves/debris or insulation foam that has come loose. There is a bulletin to remove the foam and any leaves/debris under warranty (5y/60k) and install a cabin filter to prevent recurrence.

Your previous repair was likely done prior to the cabin filter update to the bulletin, and a cabin filter was not installed.
The updated bulletin that includes the filter was issued September 2008. If your repair was done prior to that, you did not receive the cabin filter, which is why you are backed up again, and you ARE eligible to the have the repair performed again under warranty, this time with a filter. Your dealer will need to contact their DSM for approval to perform the repair again, but they will honor it if you fit those circumstances.

This is not a repair I would recommend taking on yourself. It does require complete removal of the dashboard, all components, and complete ac/heater box (requiring draining of coolant and proper discharge and storage of refrigerant).

DeLonghi Pinguino PACL90 MODEL

For a short time you can run without filters. I suspect it is low on charge or the metering devise is not working. Check this link out for an owners manual. It may help you.
