Program a sharp television

Have model number 25A-S100 with serial number 392893 can not locate manual on this television and can not get it to program. Will pick up local channels, but is connected to cable and will not pick up the cable channels. Have lost the manual and would like to try to learn once again how to program this set. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
