Question about Multimedia Projectors
I have an HP-070 multimedia projector which was working fine for the first few months. NOW it is not recieving info from either my lap top via VGA or my DVD player via AV.
I cant really undersatnd the problem. The cables are fine. The lamp and picture are fine (i get a clear message that it is getting no signal.) Typically this was a new projector I got from ebay but i now realise has no proper company name, made in China. HP-070 seems to be made by the same company that makes 'oley', 'ally' and 'multimax' projectors.
I dont know if you have any suggestions. I would be very grateful for any help.
Eeek matt. an ally olly, (means garlic mayo in spanish)
never mind, i'll try to help.
first check out all signal in options, are you sure pj is receiving a signal in. use all available input option to check out.
if no joy proceed carefully as follows
power down, openup pj and check by inputs pcb panel.
probably a mini plug has fallen out or a slidein flat cable is not fully plugged in
good luck with the faultfinding

One other thing to check is that if you are using a laptop (or other computer) make sure the resolution is not set too high. Older projectors especially cannot "understand" higher res settings. 1024 x 768 should be your starting pointand then experiment with higher resolutions.
