Question about Pioneer DEH-P3700MP CD/MP3/WMA/WAV Receiver
Have a pioneer car stereo that says it's sat ready, but when I plug my sat in it goes crazy. I'm hooking it thru 3.5 from sat unit to 3.5 on back of head unit. It makes the preset channels start changing by themselves. It's a Pioneer DEH-P3700MP. Also, there are 4 rca jacks in back of head unit and if I plug into them from sat, it's play what's on the sat but also anything playing on radio. And there doesn't seem to be an aux setting on radio either
That plug at the back is not for sat radio. It is for use with steering wheel controls. You have the blue plug at rear of stereo and that is the plug for sat radio. Ericson electronics is contracted to build the sat compatible units that wire into this radio through the blue. plug. if you are using 3.5 plug audio control from a portable sat receiver, the you will need to buy an aux input cable for your stereo..
