Piece of cake.

Remove the top ... may be a couple screws - then pull it up off the spring clamp.

Remove the front. The drum will come with it. Remember, there are wires on the front ... dont mess em up.

Get your new belt - put it around the drum ... then ... and this is the tricky part ... stand on your head and start whistleing!

The belt goes through the tensioner and around the pulley on the motor.

Lift the drum back to the rear wheels and the front bearing.

Refasten the front

Put the tolp back on

Vola!

Oh yea ... unplug it first.

Changing inside pully belt

if you have two belts on your vehicle and need to change the inside one , put the edge of belt one pully that has outside belt and hit key couple times (do not start) the pulley and belt on the outside will turn putting the inside belt on inside without removing outside belt , Will leave small mark on belt that you put on But will not hurt it

How do I put the serpentine belt back on a 1998 saturn sl2 after I have installed a new alternator

there is a little stick man illustration sticker under the hood showing how to release belt tension by moving the tensioner arm. if the serpentine belt is still on the lower pulley then put the belt on everything except the tensioner, then move the tensioner arm as needed, put the belt in there and release the tensioner arm. most likely going to need two people to do this.

if the belt has come off the lower pulley then you are going to have to remove the service panel behind the right front wheel and put the belt back on lower pulley, then do as above described. this would be a great time to put a new tensioner, a new serpentine belt, and a new "dog bone" motor mount on as it will all be right there to work on with that service panel out.

Serpentine belt digran pontic sunfire 2000 belt digrqam needed need digram to put serpentine belt back on

need to know the engine size and you should have a diagram for the belt routing under the hood. if the belt tensioner is faulty or one of the pulleys have seized .have those repaired first instead of putting on the belt again.9 out 10 it is a faulty part that is why you may have lost the belt.

Hoover windtunnel vacuum belt

There are 4 screws that you need to remove. The belt lies between the roller and a pin. With a little effort, you just pull out the roller, and the belt will come loose. When putting the new belt, you need to insert the belt into the pin first and then put the other end of the belt onto the roller. Then pull the roller and put it back into its groove. Voila!
