Depending on what format yours uses, the prossess i use for mine is,
1 using arcsoft media converter to convert the video to .wmv,
2 after the conversion, open my mp3 player, then internal storage and there should be a folder called video if not make a new one called video and put your newly converted video into that folder. after that is done under the video section of your mp3 players options go into that and watch your new movies

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Hi, i am unable to view my videos on my Philips mp3 player (GoGear). The message on the screen reads; Use the philipsvideo converter application to convert files to a format that a player can read. Please...

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is anincompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to aformat that your MP3 player uses. I tried to download videos on my philips gogear 2gb mp3 player (model SA3020/37 and when i went to view it said i had not formatted it, what do i need to do.

format it and reload the software then get this arcsoft media converter 3, then drag and drop the videos you want to get on your mp3 player into the program, after it converts it it loads them onto your mp3 player as long as its connected, this program will also allow you to download youtube videos and put them on your mp3 player too

Converting things

Try to convert them to you local disc first and then move them to the gogear. This is what I do with media converter for philips.
Instead of choosing current device choose folder. When converted try to view the movie first with your media player. The gogear apears as a dics when you browse my computer and you can then copy/move the files to the appropriate folder on it. Make sure that movies, pictures and mp3 files are in the right folder on the gogear.
