Question about DCS Island Hood
When the microwave is turned on it hums,The interior light does not go on and the turn table does not spin. Everything else on the microwave works - lights / fan ect.
I am assuming the food is heated. Most microwaves have only 2 major parts, the magnetron, the thing that makes the radio waves(heat) and the control module. The relays for the light and rotisserie are on the control module board. However, as the interior light does not work. have you tried a replacement? the table not spinning may be jammed with food or something keeping the motor from turning, that or it is seized up and needs replaced. I don't think the 2 things are related. Try a new bulb and then taking the bottom apart to gain asses to the motor that spins the plate before I looked at a new control board.
