what happens when you go to monitors in syst prefs? have you tried another monitor ? (make like you want to buy one, take your pro in and try it out) what leads are you using?

You might consider replacing your ram with ALL the same RAM cards. I don't know what the maximum RAM is that you can add to your motherboard, but I have read that some BIOS programs can't read cards that are different amounts from others. Don't exceed the recommended RAM for the motherboard, either.

try putting in with the camera on. mine has done this and that's how i got it to read the card.

Around here, this is easy to determine for less than 10 bucks. Why not?

Use the resolution button on the top of the camera by the LCD display. One button is for selecting Flash. One button is for the self-timer. The middle button is for resolution. Press the button repeatedly to cycle through the options.
