Question about Dell Computers & Internet
All the screws need to be removed from the bottom of the laptop. Remove all extras that you come across, like memory, cd/dvd drive should slide out, hard drive, etc. Remove all this and set it to the side. Now you will see more screws under each of these peripherals, The screen doesn't need to be removed, but can be for ease. Once you remove all the screws, remove the keyboard. it will be a membrane so be careful not to bend it. That causes keys to stop working. Once you do all this you will be able to access the motherboard, remove it or do anything else you want to it.
The following link will show you how to take apart a dell E1505 laptop. Different model, but same concept.
