Help! My SanDisk has worked for a few months now, but today, for no reason at all, it stopped working. The light won't turn on, and it isn't being read by the computer, no response at all. The usb connection is fine, its not bent or broken, and all the parts are there. What do I do?
My problem is similar. There is a momentarily light but then nothing.

Re: Won't Turn On!
Well first try it on another computer if possible..this will keep you from guessing..Or check under 'my computer' on desktop when plugged in to see if its listed under hard drives'remobable device'..also under 'my computer' /'properties/
'devices' ..check and see for driver updates for usb mass storages driver...

The chances are that the battery has failed. The age of the device would indicate that the battery is probably NiCd - these batteries have a memory effect that means after a while the battery thinks that "fully Discharged" would be the state that is the most usual for the charger to be used most often. You will need to open the device to get the battery out to find the part number. You will then be able to order on from an online retailer.
Please go to your nearest computer hard drive repaire shope they will repaire the drive pen drive is infected with virus ok so you dont put any pc before scaning means fit the pend drive before open the drive you should scan the virus then you can safly it works other wise file will virus atacked
Im sorry to say that it look like the drive may be faulty or the storage medium inside it corrupt. try it on someone else computer to make sure.. if its only a few months old take it back to the shop as it's still under warranty and you'll get a replacement!
