1) Raise the deck all the way up and latch it, you should have enough slack in the belt to slip it off the pulley. With a little effort it will slide in between the pulley and the belt guards

2) Push the brake pedal all the way down and lock the brakes (put it in park or engage the parking brake) whichever applies to your mower.

3) Remove the bolt from the center of the stack pulley at the bottom of the engine and slide the pulley up and down to ensure that it slides free, now you should be able to remove and replace the engine. There is no reason to remove the drive belt first unless you just WANT to

How to replace red belt

It is probably the motor belt. The motor has bolts that are loosened that allows the motor to be tightened or loosened to the belt.
Loosen the bolts and remove the belt. Replace the belt.
While tightening the belt have the machine running so you can adjust the motor by slightly moving the motor to different places until the speed is the highest.

Belt stops running while standing on the treadmill

Either front roller may need to be replaced or the motor drive belt may need to be adjusted. This problems are caused when a walking belt is worn out and in need of replacement. Too much tension can cause bearing failure in the motor and the front roller and front roller pulley failure.

Motor drive belt adjustment: The motor drive belt is adjusted independently from the walking belt. Some newer models have an auto tensioner which is a lever that has a wheel that puts pressure on the drive belt and a spring on the other end that automatically loads the belt to the proper tension. You should not adjust these since they are preset. Tension can be affected slightly by adjusting the tension of the walking belt but if you have a slipping problem, the drive belt will require replacement. If your drive belt is too loose, it will slip on the front roller pulley or the motor pulley. If it is too tight, it will increase your amp draw to the point that you may have an electronics or motor problem. Due to this, it is better to be on the safe side and replace a drive belt rather than risk over tightening it.

The dryer does not turn, but will turn by hand, how do you unlock heller cd55 dryer?

It won't tumble If your dryer doesn't tumble, check these: Belt Motor Door switch Belt Dryers have a drive belt that turns the clothes drum. If the belt breaks, the drum stops rotating. Then you need to replace the belt, and often the idler pulley, because the pulley tends to wear out at the same time. Click here for a belt installation diagram Motor If the dryer motor only hums when you press the Start button, the motor may be burned out. Here's how to test the dryer motor: Remove the belt. Check for obstructions in the blower fan housing. Manually rotate the shaft of the motor. If the motor is very stiff, or impossible to rotate manually, and the blower fan housing is clear, you need to replace the motor. If the motor rotates freely, run the motor momentarily with the belt removed and the blower in place. If the motor runs fine with the belt removed, there may be a problem with the idler pulley or the clothes drum. Try to rotate the drum by hand. If it is very difficult to move, correct any problem with the rollers or pulley, and then reassemble the dryer and try it again. If the motor hums but doesn't rotate on its own even with the belt removed--yet you can turn it freely by hand--you usually need to replace the motor or the motor start capacitor. Door switch Your dryer can't operate at all if the door switch is defective. It's inside the dryer main housing near the door frame. Sometimes you need to raise or open the top or front of the dryer to reach the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

How to remove and replace a motor belt on proform

Hello there. To replace the drive belt (motor belt) follow this procedure.
1)Remove power to the machine
2)remove the hood cover (3 screws on the rear of the cover)
3) loosen the adjusting bolts for the walk belt located on the opposite end of the walk belt from the hood assembly. Loosen the adjusting bolts 10 full revolutions. This will loosen the walk belt.
4) You should then walk the drive belt off of the front roller/pulley assembly by pushing the belt to one side while turning the motor. If you are nable to do this you will need to loosen the 2 bolts holding the drive motor in place.
5) After removing the drive belt you can then slide the drive roller to the side out of the frame and it will slide out the other side of the bracket. This will allow the belt to be removed from the front roller and be replaced.
If you had to loosen the bolts holding the motor you will need to retension the drive belt by pulling the drive motor back while tightening the bolts. This will require another person to help tension while you tighten the bolts.
You can then retension the walk belt using the adjusting bolts and retightening them 10 revolutions.
Good Luck Tim

I need to replace the belt

You shouldn't have to remove the pump to replace the belt. The motor mount can be loosened and the motor moved so the belt will fit over all pulleys without removing the components.

Loosen motor, move it in, install belt, move motor out to correct belt tension, tighten motor mounts.

How to replace belt by motor

To replace a washer belt, remove power, remove back panel. On the left side is the motor, clutch, pump and belt. The pump is driven by a coupler clamped to the pump and clutch assembly. Loosen one of these clamps enough to move the coupler away so the old belt can be slipped past the coupler and also to facilitate the new belt to be installed. The belt runs in a pulley built into the top of the clutch assembly and can be "run" onto the transmission pulley very easily. To adjust the belt tension, pull out the washer, tilt it back against the wall......there are 3 nuts and bolts holding the motor assembly to the bottom frame, loosen these nuts off, the holes on the motor bracket are oval shaped so the motor assembly can be moved back and forth. You can move motor to tighten or loosen the belt, just make the belt fairly snug and don't over tighten it.
