Question about LG KG800 Cellular Phone
I run a software that was provided and when I try to connect my phone to the laptop via usb cable by running a connection wizard it displays a message the connection failed phone not connected
I have finally tracked down the reason MY U990 would not connect (in data service )
It seems if you have more than 3 sub menus open it will NOT connect....
To fix this go to the ‘multitask’ icon in the top right hand corner of the screen.(the icon is a 3x3 grid with the top right hand square larger than the rest and coloured blue) I found by clicking on the items listed I was able to reduce the list to 2.
Hey presto connects just fine.

I figured it out! You have to go into the options menu in your phone, and into the "connectivity" settings. Change it to mass storage setting, not crappy data whatever setting. So satisfying.

You may need to download the USB drivers ...hopefully you are using WINXP and not vista....wih vista you may have to really search for the drivers but you can tell me and i will email you the link for the drivers.....so i need to know which computer system you are using.

ur problem is not so make it clear that r u connecting via bluetooth device or cable..if u r connecting via Bt device than frst u need to pair ur hndset with Bt device & if ur connecting via cable than there might be problem with cable drivers..& make it clear that r u using it for internet purpose or just data transfer, & if u r trying to connect for net purposes than u definitely need to do some setings on ur mobile & pc..that are to be provided by ur service provider & rest for data transfer there is no need of setings than there might be the problem with the hardware u r using.
