I removed some software from my laptop, mostly tool bars and stuff like that i did not need. When I restarted the machine, a box appeared that mentioned something about not having or not finding sound cards. Since then, any sound of the computer, r any doc using the media player, has no sound what so ever.
What can I do?
-   i reformat the laptop, then after that no sounds appear after installation-   Guest

Well, I specified it on my original post, but here it is again: my laptop is an Acer Aspire 1640Z. I did not added a special sound card to the laptop. It's the one that it originally came with. Thaks
You can start by adding a comment and specifying the manufacturer and model of your computer unless you added a special sound card then we will need the manufacturer and model of the sound card

Hi, I have Acer Travelmate 2300 laptop with Bios Ver. 3A07. I would like to upgrade my internal (ide) HDD, but it seems like the maximum capacity allowed by motherboard is limited to 128GB. Is there any solution to use a large hard drive capacity with this laptop?
