According to the Whirlpool "Cabrio" washer installation and maintenance manual, (Cabrio is the Sears Oasis) the HC code will come up when.

"
“HC” (Cold and Hot hoses switched)
This code will appear at the end of the wash
cycle to indicate that the cold and hot water
inlet hoses are switched. If an error code
does not appear, but you are experiencing
poor washing performance, check to see
whether the inlet hoses are reversed. See
“Connect the Inlet Hoses.”

If you are getting the "HC" code and the hoses are hooked up correctly, the washer needs to be reset. 90% of the time unplugging the washer for 5 minutes or so will fix the problem. If not, call a service guy because the electronic control board has other issues.

My cabrio washer has just started coming up with the HC. It has been hooked up for a year and we have not changed the hoses. It just started coming up with HC yesterday. WHY?

You need to switch over your hot and cold water lines. 'HC' means that your hot and cold are hooked up to the wrong inlets.

My washer shows a HC in the panel. what does that
HC means that the Hot and Cold water lines are reversed. Make sure that the supply hoses are connected correctly. If they are, then there is a problem with the sensor or control board.

Kenmore oasis hc 110.2708 washer do not work (power switch do not work) Power cable no problem)
You need to call (800) 659-7026 tell them your info and model and ser# and they will send someone out for free to replace the control board it's because it was the first year out and there is always kinks in first years don't worry it will be ok just think only one more week without a washer :)

Why is my kenmore elite (top loader) oasis washer HE is displaying a code of HC
The water inlet hoses are probably removed and reconnected in reverse, and then trigger the HC error code to flash indicating the hot and cold water inlet hoses are reversed. Reconnect the water inlet hoses properly and start a cycle then let us know what happens next.

What is the HC code for the washer . It comes on after the wash cycle is finished.
After replacing the part to fix the F1 code, the washer (Oasis he) now comes up with a HC code. Also, even though the cycle is set for warm/cold, the clothes are coming out hot at the end of the cycle...and the cold water is hooked up and on. Any suggestions?
