The i776 does not have a micro-sd memory card, which stores the music, and there is not enough memory integrated to allow this. Ringtones are as far as it will go.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I bought my W100i Spiro yesterday. I tried to use mp3-files on my memory card as ringtone, but I don't know how to do this. My pictures can be used as background, but my music can't be used as...

Hi,
This is how to set it.
Don't put your mp3 ringtones in the 'ringtone' folder. Just place it into the 'music' folder. Find the song that you want as a ringtone and click on the left soft key and scroll down to 'use as' then 'ringtone'.

I am trying to change my text message ringtone. I would like to put a song from my music as a message ringtone.

Thank you for using FixYa,
You can't change the messaging tone to a song from your music playlist, these options for choosing your own music as ringtones are restricted to an alarm tone, phone ringtone and caller ringtone (caller ringtone is when specific people calls you, a certain ringtone would appear for that caller to differentiate between callers)
However, you can change your message ringtone to certain ringtones for your Galaxy S phone by going through the following steps: (P.S I am assuming that you are using the stock Samsung SMS application)
1) Go to your stock Samsung SMS app (it's named as 'Messaging')
2) Press the softkey 'menu' button
3) Go to settings, scroll down and from there you can see the option 'select ringtone'

Cheers!

When putting music or pictures on pny 4gb mirco sd card from my hp pavillion dv7-1247d lap top than put card in my samsung sch-r451c phone it shows up on memory but can not see or play music. yes I first...

I dont have a solution, but my aunt purchased this phone and a new SD card, and I have put pictures and music for ringtones from my computer to the SD Card, and when I put it back into her phone (Samsung R451C) I can not bring any of the pictures up and I can bring the music for the ringtones, but I cannot set it as a ringtone. I am sure if I was able to bring the pictures up, that I probably would not be able to set them as a wallpaper or nothing also...So I kind of have the same problem with setting my aunt's pictures and music with the same phone too...

Help!!!! i cant put music into my huawei m750

your m750 should of came with a usb cord. the is site i use is www.zedge.com and what i do is download my ringtones to a specific folder so that i can find it. first plug your usb into your phone and then into the computer..exit all that pops up and even if you get a message to the right that will say driver could not install, still close it out then download what ringtone you may have and then go to computer removable disk k or what ever removable disk that is not normally there and double click on it and it will put up what is on the phone and then go to the folder in which you save the ringtone and right click the ringtone and then send it to the removable disk k and then it should show how it's being transferred to what is on you phone move the ringtone to your music folder and then close out the pages go to your phone and click files and go to music and it should be there

How can I get the music I put on my sd card to be ringtones

Well first off you need two save your ringtones to the card and then plug the sd into your computer. The sound your trying to turn into a ringtone will need to blend in, meaning you will need to make sure its the same format as the other ringtones, and place it in the same folder.

Lg Shine Flip Ringtones

-Make sure the file is appropriate.. 30 seconds or less, mp3 format
-When you add your music to the memory card, it shows up as a song but not as a ringtone right?

The solution is to create a different folder rather than using the “Music” folder the phoneautomatically creates for you. Transfer your music to this new folder you’ve created. The ringtones should show up as long as it fits the requirements

Hope this helps

when you record a sound you can send it to yourself as a text...once you recieve just save it as a ringtone that way. or you can go to myxertones.com they have free ringtone downloads and wallpapers and you can also create your own ringtones too. Hope this was helpful :P
