Question about Estate TGDS740JQ Gas Dryer
The drum in my dryer does not move on it's own. it well move only with strength when pushed. it does heat up. i also have no idea on how to lubricate anything when the drum is in the way. the belt seems to be fine on top of the drum.
Dryer...there is no way to lubricate anything...all bearings are sealed. Get in there and look around. Turn off the gas and remove the line of you can't get access... and disconnect the power. Remove the back. Chances are you'll find that the motor, drum or belt is somehow jammed. Make sure any fan is turning freely with the belt off. It is possible that the timer is bad. This would keep the motor from receiving power. To test...remove the motor belt and turn the unit on.
