Plug in the Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter to one of the USB ports on the back of your Xbox 360.
Turn on your Xbox 360 and navigate to "My Xbox" and then "System Settings."
Go to "Network Settings" and then "Configure Network."
Select the appropriate settings for the wireless network you will be connecting to on the "Basic Settings" tab.
Enter the name of the SSID of the wireless network you will be connecting to. If the SSID is not broadcast, select "Specify Unlisted Network" and enter in the SSID of the network manually.
Enter in the wireless security key (WEP or WPA) so that your Xbox 360 can access the network.
Select "Test Xbox Live Connection" back on the "Network Settings" screen to verify that your Xbox 360 is now connected to the wireless network and ready for use.

When I plug my 2wire card into the slot, sometimes the card's power light comes on and sometimes it does not. Now it is not coming on at all. When I insert a different wireless card into the slot the card's power light comes on immediately. Any ideas of what the problem may be? 2wire 802.11g Wireless Adapter: P/N 1000-100074-000
