HI,

You have to check the following things to ensure that they are good..

There are two PICO fuses in the main board F9A04 and 05, try checking they are fine and if they are worn out try replacing them

Check for any bad capacitors in the DM board, if you find any try replacing them..

Think this should solve your problem, with power issues

If you still need furthur assistance, please leave me comment,we may help you furthur

Sounds TV got problem either in convergence out section or in horizontal deflection section.
Please intimate model number written at back of TV to look into schematics for possible cause of problem and its solution.
Let me know also if you want to fix it by yourself as it requires fair knowledge of electronics and experience.
Thanks.

I have sony 55" wega

If this is just a problem with the remote specifically and 'not' manual buttons (on the tv) then the problem is either the remote or the IR sensor in the TV.

First thing is to check the batteries (which im guessing you have done) but its a process of elimination.

Second is to try another remote. If you can get your hands on another universal remote for example, then you can see if its the IR sensor on the TV, or just the remote control.

New Samsung LCD TV won't turn on or off

This is the best solution for your problem as a 40 year experience with wires etc. Go to the source of your cable signal connector . Open it and clean the terminals with emery paper , sand the end of the cable shiny clean from corrosion , get a new barrel connectors with gold terminals if possible lengthen the ends of the cable , insert and tighten good, use thick rg-16 or rg 40 cable with good insulation ends crimped professionally with a crimpier or buy ready made , not from dollar store. Get a gold plated professional splitter if you need one or two , it will cost about 15 or more each . Make the cable runs as short as possible, using the thick good cables. If needed get a signal magnifier. From radio shack or the source etc. Connect them good and tight . Ground the splitters . Problem solved , you will get crystal clear channel 2 to 7 including 3 and 4 . Isolate the TV cable from other cables and power wires. Vitally
