connecting digital tv to dvd recorder

connecting dvd recorder to a lcd tv with built in digital tv channels so can operate all recorder functions normally.[lite on dvd recorder]

I'm delighted to report that all is now working.
I turned the recorder off at the mains electricity supply, left it off for several hours, switched it back on, searched for new digital channels, and it found them all :-)
I had tried this before, but only left it disconnected for a few minutes, and clearly that wasn't enough.

hi, did you find a solution? i have in built freeview and have bought a recorder but i cant pick up any freeview channels on it. the dvd recorder is a Wharfedale DVDRHD400 cheers tom
