Question about Kodak EASYSHARE 5100 All-In-One Printer

The scanner does not work on my Kodak EasyShare 5100 All-in-One Printer. Don't know how to make it work

Hi, if nothing happens when scanning w/ your printer.Please follow the steps below.

1.Verify that the scanner is working properly by copying a document first.

2. Open the Kodak AiO Home Center software.

3. Select Configure Settings.

4. Click Scan.

5. Click either the Documenttab or PictureTab depending on the file you want to scan.

6. Under File Save Setting, sure that the Prompt for filename and location is selected.

7. Click Apply then OK.

    Hello,

    In addition to my previous post, you may try steps below on how to scan using your printer, your Kodak AiO Home Center software must be connected to a computer. The Kodak AiO Home Center software must be installed and running on your computer prior to scanning.

    To scan with the control panel:

    1. Place your original face down in the right front corner of the scanner glass.
    2. Press Scan.
    3. Press Start. If the Scan application is open on the computer, the item scanned appears on the monitor. If the Scan application is not open, open it to view the scanned item.

    To scan with the Kodak AiO Home Center software:

    1. Open the Kodak AiO Home Center software.
    2. Make sure that the printer status at the lower right-hand corner of the windows is Connected.
    3. If it is connected, click on Scan Pictures and Documents.
    4. Select an Output depending on the file that you want to scan weather if it is Color Picture, Black and White Picture, Color Restored Picture, Color Document or Black and White document.
    5. Click Scan Now. Kodak AiO Home Center software will scan the document or picture in the scanner bed/glass.
    6. After scanning, Kodak AiO Home Center software shows the scanned document or picture. You can edit the document/picture from this point or you will be given an option if you want to scan more and scan with preview.
    7. Click Next if you want to save the file.
    8. Save the file by clicking the Save button. You can choose where you want to save the picture/document by clicking on browse.
    9. Kodak AiO Home Center software will notify you that a file has been saved and their locations then click on OK.

Hello.
You do need a updated driver for this, but you can check if it is installed through Start - Control Panel - Scanners and Camera's. If not the correct software can be downloaded from HERE

Can you scan old slide photos of a 5100 Kodak Aio?


You can set them on the scanner glass and press the scanner button one at time and then edit each one as necessary.
