Where do I find a part number on an Eljer toilet tank?

You can purchass a whole new fixture for the same cost as just the tank I believe...
any eljer tank will fit your toilet bowl... they are pretty universal.
Does the current tank have a crack or something?you can replace the seals easilly enough if the tank is just leaking at the seal ... and the flush mechanism is also easy to replace , should that be the reson to swap out tanks too.

Water over flowing from the toilet

It must be clogged. Try using a plunger first. If thayt doesn't work, consider using a "toilet snake". Simply place the end of the flexible cable into the toilet bowl and begin unwinding. The cable will extend round the bends in your trap way dislodging any clogs as it goes. If you come to the point where you feel some resistance, you will need to rewind the cable back into the bowl and remove anything that comes up with it. Repeat this process until your toilet runs clear.

Toilet does not completly flush. It stars out right, then kind of just fissles. acts like its sucking air, or loosing suction.

Hello
Could be a clog blocking the vent.If the vent is blocked then you will get this kind of problem.

Best thing to do is get a plunger and unclog it.Also check that the water supply is full and the tank is full.

Toilet is leaking between tank and seat. the water that is collecting on the back of the toilet is blue. what does that mean.

Check for any loose connections or a crack in the pump casing. Check all the rubber fittings also for any holes or cracks.

Eljer toilet

Hello there:
i would either get a snake and have the lines snaked out or get a good quality plunger and use that if you can get it to go down i recommend before you flush it get a small trashcan and fill it with steaming hot water and pour it down the drain and if needed do it 2 or 3 times this will help release any greasy residue that may have gotten in the line than you would be good to go ok?
best regards michael

Eljer century toilet splashes water up on toilet seat

You can try replacing the flapper with a timed flapper. You can purchase one at Home Depot and they are made by fluidmaster. Set the flapper on the shortest flush time thus reducing the flow of water. If this doesn't help, try to isolate the particular holes that are causing the greatest amount of splash. Using an epoxy glue (after the holes are completely dry) plug them up with the glue. This is a permanent fix so be careful.
