Question about Hitachi Deskstar® T7K250 250 GB Hard Drive
0a33423 hard-disk seems to be fine... its the chip connection that seems to be burnt.... therefore i can't have access to the data on the hard disk....
Can i replace...
If you have the tools and experience the circuit board can be replaced and assuming that is all that is wrong you may be able to get the data back. The main problem with this is that it can be diffucult to find the right circuit board.
You can try ebay, buy a refurbished drive which may have a universal board for that series on it and cross your fingers. If that works you should be ok, if not you may need the help of a pro. If you need a pro, reply back with your location(Country, State, City) and I will be happy to provide a recommendation.
Hope this helps FixYa,
