Do the same but roll the ball the other way.
Alternatively, open system preferences, go to universal access and turn Zoom off. Or on the keyboard press "Alt Command -" all at the ame time.

Cd will not eject from Mac laptop

To eject a CD from a Macintosh, start from power-off. Press the power button, and immediately hold down the trackpad button. Continue to hold the button until you hear the optical drive eject, or try to eject. If the CD does not eject successfully, then it is physically stuck, which is a different issue and requires professional service, which may involve replacement of the optical drive.

Unblocking the my mac book dvd player

Okay, here are ALL your options, easiest first.
1. Boot up with the eject button pressed (top right-hand on the keyboard)

2. Boot up with the left-hand mouse/trackpad button held down

3. The firmware eject (a bit more serious) Boot up with Command, Option, O and F buttons held down. Type eject-cd at the prompt and the cd will pop out. Type mac-boot and you are rock n' rolling!

4. Finally, from the boys at Rent-A-Nerd...

Not for the faint-hearted.

Cannot scroll down using roll button. Still can scroll up.

This is the one big problem with these mice - it's always the down that stops working. Anyway the fix is simple.
Get some heavy duty kitchen towel (or that green paper towel they use in bathrooms) and fold it double.
Moisten it so that there is a decent sized damp patch and lay it flat on your desk.
Switch off your mouse and invert it so the that ball is on the paper towel.
Now behave like a little kid scribbling for all you are worth - be really violent and aggressive - using the ball as your felt-tip pen.
After 30 seconds or so you can have a lie down (these tantrums can really take it out of you). Dry off the mouse and switch it back on and wait for it to pair.
That should be it.
You'll probably find that you'll have another tantrum in about a month's time. (Don't worry - you'll get used to it)

I am on an acer laptop and i somehow zoomed out really far on the internet broswer and now its so small i can barely read this! please tell me how to make the internet fit the screen

there is a short using Ctrl Button on the Keyboard and the scroll button on your mouse. Just press Ctrl while moving the wheel on you mouse. While pressing Ctrl, the forward roll of the wheel would Zoom IN the Page and on the other hand, the backward roll of the wheel would further Zoom OUT the Page. this technique is alos applicable on other application like word, excel, ppoint, acrobat reader etc...

Scroll Button does not work

Take the mouse off of the computer. Turn it upside down on a piece of clean printer paper, so that the scroll ball is touching the paper. Roll it around briskly on the paper. This will help clean off the scroll ball.

My mouse cursor does not move when I move my finger across my mouse.

I'm assuming you're moving the whole mouse, and not just using something like a trackpad. Pick up your mouse, and turn it upside-down. If there's a ball, grab a can of compressed air, squirt it into the edges around the ball, and roll the ball around. If there's a piece of glass, there's supposed to be a red light, called a laser, coming out of that. If there is no light, you'll need to get your mouse replaced.
