- Are there a few screws you can remove to get at the back of the button panel? If so, take a run to an auto parts store and pick up a can of CRC electrical spray cleaner.. Take the panel out so you can fully see it and take it outside.. Look down the wires, There is possibly a wiring harness plug. They use them for fast assembly. If you can get the button bar out, Again, outdoors, liberally rinse every thing behind the buttons where the contacts are. Take care not to spray any plastics that are aesthetics or finishes. was the switches over some you can see any pieces or dirt you may rinse out. The CRCdries quickly so not to worry, Work the switches as you wash the mechanisms. Spray off the connector plug also.
