Either bad heating element or missing one leg of the 240V circuit. The motor runs on 120V.

I would suggest replacing the heating element these are usually always the culprit and pretty much anybody can replace them.
Check here for parts for you model number, they also have good diagrams.
Hope this helps, thanks.

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....

If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.

LER 5620KQO won't start. Any ideas?

I would think that you either have a bad thermal fuse, Thermal cut off or bad door switch. Most likely a bad thermal cut off.

I have a Whirlpool Dryer (Model # LER 3624JQ0) that just stopped. I push the "Push & Start" Button and get absolutely nothing. Remind you, this dryer never did turn off, I had to manually stop it each time...

Check the thermal fuse on the exit chute, white plastic. You can tape the wires together to test. If the dryer runs, replace it. Part # 3392519. Thermo next to it is also bad, part # 694674. Replace it and your timer will run down. Both parts available at www.timerking.com. Hope this helps!

Dryer won't heat yp

You are going to need a heater element OR a limit kit. A simple continuity check is all that is needed to confirm the failed part. Remove one wire from each component you check so you do not get a backfeed (false reading). Remember to unplug the machine.
If it turns out the clixons are all good and the heater is fine then the timer will probably be the culprit.
