Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
If you mean your computer switches off when your in the middle of something randomly then boots again, your laptop is F*****! The only way round this is to replace the motherboard with a new one, if you are not confident to do it yourself, get a pro, its not worth the risk, as it can be quite fiddly and delicate. If it boots up windows then windows as asks to restart, buy windows 7 when it is released then install it and your problem will go, or if you are running XP Media centre/home/pro try an upgrade to vista and it should get rid o your problem. Its a shame the dv series has so many faults as i own a dv2000, it is a beautiful and fast laptop but there is always a problem with it in some shape or form
