Question about ASUS M2N-MX Motherboard
I have 4 GB of RAM installed in my computer. Asus A8N-SLI Premium Mobo with AMD (socket 939) 4000+ San Diego Processor. My computer is only recognizing 2.5 GB. Why is that? Can anyone help? Thanks!
You get only 2.5GB because the rest 1.5 GB is been allocated to the Graphics Memory of your system
If you use Graphic intense allpication, you can leave as it is, Else you can use more memory for application, And you can provide less memory for the Graphics
You have to set the "memory low Gap" in the bios from 1536 to 1024(For 1 gb for Graphics) or 512 (as you wish). After changing you can see 3.0Gb of RAM or 3.5DB of RAM for your system.
Please leave me comment, if you need furthur assistance
