SPEAKING WITH MY EXPERIENCE UNISTALL IT. TRY SOMETHING ELSE.

FREE SPYWARE
Download Spybot Search & Destroy. Restart computer, then run Spybot to see what spyware comes up, AND DELET IT.

FYI---Virus Protection-- 2 programs of virus protection will conflict with each other and will actually cancel out the protection. SO just download one.

Running Spybot Search & Destroy with EITHER Avast or Avg (great Free virus protection programs ) will keep a computer in good working condition. FREE

HERE ARE SOME LINKS, THAT WOULD BE BETTER:
NEW *****Somthing new FROM MICROSOFT.*** 2009 ---Security Essentials

*****Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.5.2 ****

$ *** KASPERSKY ***

There are alot of $ anti-virus and Internet security programs out there,

ie: Norton, McAfee, Panda, Bitdefender. If you would like to pay $ then get ***Kaspersky***-- 2010 , I feel that is the best for your money.

REMEMBER TO KEEP UP THE DAILY MAINTENANCE ON ALL OF YOUR COMPUTERS.!

Good Luck.

I have a Trojan virus that I can't get rid of

that is bad.you will need to get a virus program that will take this out or at least put it into quarantine asap.
so run a scan now with what ever virus program who have and hope it at least puts it in to quarantine.
a trojan can be very bad it could wipe you clean.
so please do a scan now.

I had just installed Charter Security. It said that it was protected but it was scanning for virus and the computer shut off. I cannot get it to come back on.

You may have a virus, malware, adware, a browser hijacker, or pups (potentially unwanted programs).

A. If your computer will boot and you can operate it ok...

Download and install Malwarebytes and Superantispyware (Note: If you can\'t do the download on your machine, do it on a friend\'s, put them on a thumb drive, and install them from it). Then scan your computer with each program, and quarantine anything found.

B. If your computer won\'t boot, or can\'t operate properly after boot...

Tap F8 when you are booting, select "Safe Mode With Networking". Download and install Malwarebytes and Superantispyware (Note: If you can\'t do the download on your machine, do it on a friend\'s, put them on a thumb drive, and install them from it). Then scan your computer with each program, and quarantine anything found.

C. If this process finds malware, to keep stuff like that from coming back, I recommend you get the paid version of Malwarebytes.

Good luck.

Clicked on app. Then told my phone was blocked due to graphic things looked at by me (not so) if I paid 100 to ukash itd be fixed my phone is now blocked not working just shows same page

This is a known malware scam. Which has been operating since Summer 2013. It happened on my last PC & I switched off & re-booted ran all my security apps. (which found nothing), then went on line (searched Ukash malware virus) & found a forum from which the consensus seemed to be that the (free) Malware Bytes software was the best one to deal with it (disclaimers). Ran that & it detected some 80 threats. Removed/quarantined & things were normal although the netbook itself succumbed to a separate long term problem soon after. I'm not sure if this would help with the 'phone, sorry.

Win32/Spatet.A trojan

while I am not familiar with the "eset" A/V program (actually never heard of it before) I would STRONGLY suggest that you go to their website and try whatever forums may be there first as that anything that we would have to say might very well "kill" your system because there are SO many versions of WIN XP (OEM, Home Pro, etc) and they would have VERY intimate knowledge of the software that you are using.

it may be due to virus is running. You can kill the process from task manager or tuneup task manager. After killing the process you will able to quarantine the virus file. Best of luck .

Operanting sistem in quarenten

Any antivirus; unless it finds virus, never moves a file to quarantine. If it moved, then probably your OS is occupied entirely by virus.
Which antivirus are you using? Are you able to login into your system ? If yes, open the quarantine folder and replace all items. It is best if you do it in safe mode. Then scan for that trojan horse again. But before that, back up your important data and then scan. I recommend you remove all the virus after backing up of data and format your system once (all drives) and do a fresh install of OS.

If you are unable to open quarantine, try system restore to restore to a point earlier before that scan. It is in All Programs>Accessories>System Tools.
