left it unplugged overnite and still problem.
I think at time of freez two screens remain "open".
when trying to open get ""preparing to standby".
when did open, message to plug-in power source, when I click"ok" the right hand side of screen shows mouse pointer ready to go But does not respond to click of pointing device.
left screen also frozen, has hourglass and no response to click.
Is it half frozen forever?

Power button with volume button pressed at the same time and held takes a screen shot or picture of the screen (or should) which is why you think its frozen its because its a picture not the actually screen if you hit back it should go back to original screen when this happens and you can view ur screen shots somewhere under
you can relieve the freezing by closing all the apps running then monitor the RAM hardware by opening the apps again its the same principle in restarting a computer in windows 7
i am really sorry for that i think your phone is in coma not died.dnt worry first see the ways of charging lines.for that you must have knowledge of mobile.
I have had a similiar problem with my Trax 430. The screen freezes at the system shut down stage. I have to plug it into the computer via the USB cable. It then recognizes the computer and attempts to do an USB update. Then just unplug it. It should work but not a practical solution when you are driving about.
I could be several problems, I would suggest unplugging everything except the keyboard. If you have another keyboard you can try that as well. If that doesn't work and you fell comfortable opening up the computer, I would try to remove a stick of RAM, and while you have the computer open, look to see if any of the capacitors are blown.
There is a button on the lower part of the remote that is a "freeze" button, it will freeze the picture, or capture a still shot. Try pressing this button to "unfreeze" your picture.
Unplugging should reset the it, but you may need to unplug it for a couple of hours. Try unplugging overnite. In the meantime, I'l look up the specific model and try to get you more details.
