I cleaned my Air-O-Swiss 7133 with EZ-cal cleaner. Afterwards it continued to put out some mist then stop and start up again for a few moments. The action is similar to when the humidifier begins to get low on water. I cleaned the humidifier again with EZ cal and then the hygrometer begin displayed 80% humidity (which it was not) and wouldn't change. So I left the humidifier without any water in it over night to dry it out thoroughly. This morning it won't power on at all :( I see how anything I touched had anything to do with the power supply in the unit and it was working fine before. I did not drop the unit while cleaning it and I rinsed it out twice with clean water both times I used the EZ cal solution before turning the humidifier back on.

I haven't used the Air o Swiss #7133 humidifier in a while - I took off the water reservoir to clean the bottom section and noticed a part on the bottom that has a metal attachment and a wick of some sort - not sure where this goes.. It kind of looked like it did not belong there. Any ideas?? Thin part about 5" long with a white wick in the middle - perhaps some overflow piece??
