Re: email very small cannot read
The only other thing I can think of to go to your email setting and look for the font settings, there will be a style and size setting. Depending on what email you have, those would be the only other options.

Changing font size for reading in Outlook and Gmail
To read Mail in a larger font in Outlook:
Hold down Ctrl while turning the scroll wheel on your mouse down.
In Outlook 2007 and later, alternatively
Open the message in its own window.
Click Other Actions.
Select Zoom... from the menu.
Choose the desired zoom level.
Outlook will not remember the zoom level.
Since this does not work with plain text emails (the mouse wheel does), also select Tools ' Options... from the menu, go to the Mail Format tab, click Fonts... and use the Choose Font... button under When composing and reading plain text: to choose a bigger font. The above instructions are courtesy of About.com.
When you say make your letters bigger, do you mean a full documentation (e.g a formal letter) or do you mean the text? To make the text bigger, it also depends on what program you're using. Usually there is an option at the top of your screen in a toolbar. Highlight all of the text you want to make bigger and find a tab that has a number in it, usually located next to the font (standard fonts are Calibri, Times New Roman, and Arial). You can either select a number from the drop down menu, or type one in yourself. If you typed it, press "Enter" and it should take effect. If it's just so you can read it better, you can zoom in by holding "Ctrl" and pressing the "+" key. That works on most programs. To make a full document bigger, you can edit it in the "Page setup" section, which can be found in the "File" menu.
Did you icons get big too? Pressing Ctrl + Mouse Wheel Scroll with make your icons bigger (also Right-Click > View > Large, Medium, Small). Did your resolution change? In Windows 7 and 8, you can check your resolution by right-clicking on the Desktop and select "Personalize". From there, select "Display" located to the lower left of the window. This should show you three options: Smaller, Medium, Larger. Choose the one you like the best. From here you can change your computers Resolution by clicking "Adjust Resolution" and select the one that shows you the most screen that you are able to still read. Most websites are designed to a minimum of 1024 by 768, so I would select at least that.
If you want a BIGGER or a SMALLER text size all you have to do is select ALL TEXT [or the part you want to modify] using the mouse [keeping the left button pressed] or using the combination CTRL+A [select ALL] and to indicate what size of letters do you want to use by clicking on the button above the message body that shows you TWO A LETTERS [one bigger, one smaller]. That one is for modifying the FONT SIZE.
The fonts or letters or the whole page you may have accidentally zoom in. It is very simple to return the page to its regular size. Press and hold down the CTRL button in your keyboard while pressing a few times the the minus ( - ) sign in the number pads. Pressing the plus ( + ) sign will make your page bigger.
You can also try Press and hold down CTRL button while you scroll forward or backward the wheel in your mouse to make it bigger or smaller.
